Ballydougan Pottery Courtyard Cottages - Wheat Loft Apartment

Welcome to “Wheat Loft Apartment” self-catering holiday apartment within the enclosed courtyard at Ballydougan Pottery.

Ballydougan Pottery has created self catering cottages from fine old listed stone barns within an enclosed courtyard. Many of the original features such as wooden floors and vaulted ceilings have been retained.

Each cottage is bright and spacious with a living room /kitchen. Bedrooms are furnished in a traditional style with fine oak beds, wardrobes and dressing tables complementing the white bed linen. Bathroom complete with WC, bath (exception of Gaskins Grove - disabled access and walk in shower) and over bath shower, and shaver point also offer a hairdryer and white fluffy towels.

Wheat Loft .....First Floor Only: Kitchen and Living area, double bedroom and bathroom.
Wheat Loft is accessed by a flight of exterior steps.

Guests may meander around the Gift Shop or sit in the courtyard garden and enjoy a freshly made cappuccino from our Restaurant & Coffee Shop. At Ballydougan you can enjoy self-catering with a twist! Wander across the courtyard and enjoy freshly prepared meals or snacks in our Restaurant & Coffee Lounge! Our staff can cater for all your needs - Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Picnics, Dinner in your own cottage after a day touring. Nothing is too much trouble! Please discuss requirements with Staff.

Gift Shop, Pottery, and Restaurant & Coffee Shop are open Monday – Saturday 09.00 – 17:00.

Location Description

Ballydougan Pottery Courtyard Cottages are on the main B3 road between Lurgan & Gilford...follow brown tourist signs. From Belfast take M1 to Moira, then A3 to Lurgan. At first set of traffic lights take left then second left at mini-roundabout onto B3 road Gilford. Drive 3 miles & we are on left hand side of road. From Dublin take A1 to Banbridge, then A50 to Gilford/Craigavon. Turn right into Gilford village, then through village and continue towards Lurgan on B3. After 3.5 miles we are on right side of road.
