Barney's Cottage

Barney's is a traditional stone cottage in a tranquil rural setting at the foot of the Mourne Mountains and close to the attractions that the area has to offer.

The cottage has been recently updated to provide all modern conveniences including free wifi, access to 70 TV channels, DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen with tumble dryer, coffee maker and dishwasher.

The large private walled garden with sunny patio is perfect for al fresco dining and provides a safe play space for children of all ages. The seaside town of Newcastle is a ten minute drive while the nearest beach is only minutes away.

Location Description

From Belfast follow the A24 to Newcastle. Pass through the village of Dundrum and take the first right out of the village signposted B180 to Maghera.
Follow the B180 for approximately 1.5 miles. The cottage is on the right hand side of the road.

From Dublin follow the A1 North to Belfast. Take the B113 exit towards Newry then follow the B8 to Hilltown. Take the B27 for a short distance and then turn on to the B180. Stay on the B180, passing through Maghera. The cottage is on the left approx 1 mile after Maghera.
