Drumbo Country House
Drumbo Country House is a self-catering cottage. The spa facilities of hot tub and sauna are for your exclusive use (7am-10pm) with access to the BBQ Hut and The Swallow entertainment space during your stay. No need to share your time or spaces with any other guests.
The grounds offer mature gardens with an artificial lawn, all ready for a kick about, putting practice, tennis, badminton, soft archery or even a game of swing-ball. There is also a large, covered patio area for you take full advantage of no matter the weather. An airsoft shooting range is also available for guest use upon request, with everything supplied.
The Swallow allows you to have a night out with a BYOB to the party, without all the pushing and shoving to get served at the bar! Have a game of pool or darts, maybe fancy dress is your thing? Don’t like the music? Feel free to change it. You put it on the Bluetooth Speaker! There is an Amazon Firestick TV in the bar, but sure the craic is too good with your group to worry about what’s on!
And if you feel like making some pizzas and having a laugh judging each other’s efforts, The Pizza Box is bookable for an evening. Everything is supplied, right down to the aprons, all you need to do is turn up at 7pm with a whole load of enthusiasm! We will guide you through the process.
We do live onsite with our little chihuahua Coco, but after we meet, greet, get you all checked in and shown round, you won’t see us unless you need something.
A car is necessary to reach the property which is semi-detached and set on the outskirts of Belfast, with great road links to the city centre, Titanic Belfast, City Hall, Ulster Museum, and the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum. It's a good base for day trips to the beautiful Causeway Coast; home to the Giant's Causeway, Ballintoy Harbour and Old Bushmills Distillery, the delightful Mourne Mountains with the Silent Valley Reservoir, not forgetting the Game of Thrones® filming locations, and the beauty of the Ards Peninsula with ferry crossing on good weather days. Drumbo Country House is surrounded by many wonderful restaurants, bars and countless golf courses all within a very small 5-10 mile radius. There are lovely National Trust Parks close by, along with outdoor adventure parks for the big kids and the small kids alike. Whatever takes your fancy for a visit to Northern Ireland, we are in a well suited location for your stay.

Directions from Town
You will require your own car to reach Drumbo Country House, as there is no public tranport that passes the house, or paths that would bring you from the nearest village of Carryduff. Taxi's can also be questionable in their reliability to turn up or bring you out to the outskirts of Belfast.
Getting to the start by car
The Comber Road, can have a steady stream of traffic during the working day, but with fully fenced and enclosed gardens you won't notice at all, as the back gardens are private and not overlooked by passing vehicles at all. Depending on the route your sat nav directs you to take, the winding, undualting hills can be interesting when you meet a tractor or two enroute!
