Location Description

From Belfast / Bangor / Newtownards / Greyabbey / Kircubbin

Follow the signs for Newtownards and then straight through Greyabbey and Kircubbin to Portaferry. Follow the main road into Portaferry - until you come to a roundabout with the PSNI station on your RHS where you have to turn left. Turn left at the roundabour into Ann Street up to the T junction at the top. **** Turn left onto High Street and go past the petrol station on your RHS.
No more than .1km past the petrol station you come to a crossroads - the school will be at 1.00 to you with a children's playground at 11.00 to you. Turn right into Ballyphilip Road and keep going up over the hill, past the church on the RHS until you come to the T junction. Turn right and then almost immediately left onto Ballyfounder Road. Almost immediately you will see the GAA grounds on your right.
Go 2.7kms and then turn left into Quintin Bay Road - there is a low white house on the LHS corner and a red phone box immediately after you make the turn. Follow the road round for 1.6kms, passing Millin Bay on your right - we are the first house on the right after the bay - grey Down gates - no.15. You take the right drive for Flora Cottage. (*** If going to the Portaferry Hotel turn right and follow the road down until you arrive at Strangford Lough - turn right and hotel is pink building on RHS).

From Portaferry Ferry Terminal - 5.5kms - Turn right onto Strand Road which becomes Shore Road. Go past the Portaferry Hotel (pink) on the LHS, continue straight along for .5kms. Turn left into Cook Street - signposted to Kearney. There's a 3 storey block of flats on the corner.
Travel along Cook St. for 0.6kms, when you come to a fork - take the right fork into Ballyfounder Road. Almost immediately you will see the GAA grounds on your right. Go 2.7kms and turn left into Quintin Bay Road. (Low white house on LHS corner and red phone box). Follow the road round for 1.6kms, passing Millin Bay on your right - we are the first house on the right after the bay - black Down gates - no.15. You take the right drive for Flora Cottage.
