Tollymore forest Park is a few minutes’ drive and Silent Valley, Castlewellan County Park, Murlough Bay Nature Reserve are all nearby. Two golf courses ; The Legendary Royal County Down and the Mourne Golf Club are within walking distance. Downpatrick, a stone's throw away, home to St.Patrick's Visitor Centre and Grave, (A world Christian Heritage Site). The surrounding area also offers countless opportunities for horse riding, fishing, sailing, mountaineering and windsurfing.
