One Tree Cottage

One Tree Cottage is set on Heron Farm, Coney Island, home to ceramic artist and sculptor, Berni Sutton, and luthier, Rob Sutton. You can relax in this cosy eighteenth century seaside cottage, snug beside the wood burning stove, with an Irish Stew cooking on the Rayburn. You can sleep in the antique iron bed, in the double bedroom, shower in the en suite, or snooze in one of the twin single beds in the second bedroom. You can play piano, watch TV/DVD, listen to radio, or go out and play on the beach, in the sea, wind surf, sail, play golf. You can watch the wildlife, the bird life, the changing sea and sky. Take a ceramics class with Berni. Walk, cycle, explore the natural beauty of the area between the Mourne Mountains and Strangford Lough.

Directions from Downpatrick - follow signs for Killough (B176). Enter Killough village at mini roundabout by the Anne Boal Inn, turn left, following A2 towards Ardglass for 1.5 miles (2.4kms) passing Coney Island Caravan Park on your left, continuing past placesign for Coney Island, rounad a sharp left hand bend, past third dwelling on your left,(41, Killough Road) .20m past that you turn left into the entrance to Heron Farm marked with two mosaics of herons. You have arrived at One Tree Cottage.
