Join us for an evening of creativity and fun at Seacourt Print Workshop! No experience is necessary to take part in this immersive experience which is perfect for those who want to try their hand at this traditional printing technique.
Your host for the evening is local Artist Jessica Hollywood who will guide you as you think of a quote that has meaning for you. This will be used for the inspiration for your artwork.
You'll get to use the vintage presses and experiment with different fonts and designs. Don’t worry if you have never taken part in anything creative before - Jessica is there to help you and all materials will be provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and creativity! Everyone will leave with a set of small prints that will make beautiful gift or a lovely addition to your home.
Things to note
Basic materials including inks and cartridge paper will be provided.
Wear something you don’t mind getting inky, or bring an apron - however there are some at Seacourt to borrow too.
No open toed shoes please!

Getting there
By car: from Belfast follow A2 to Bangor Town Centre. On street parking nearby.
Car parking | Ards and North Down Borough Council
By public transport: Train or bus to Bangor Station. From the station walk straight out of the main entrance, heading down Main Street (past The Ava and the Post Office) and walk approximately 10-15 minutes down Main Street to the seafront. Follow the promenade See Translink for timetables.
Accessibility
Seacourt's aim is to bring printmaking to as many people as possible. By their nature, some printmaking processes involve an amount of physical effort.
Seacourt Print Workshop is on street level, and is accessible through the front doors in a wheelchair. It is fully wheelchair accessible, larger than standard doors and disabled toilet facilities. They recognise that everybody’s accessibility needs may differ, therefore please email us at info@seacourt-ni.org.uk to discuss any concerns you may have before booking.
Carers
Where practicable providers within the Experience Programme will aim to accommodate carers and be as inclusive as possible. With such a diverse range of activities, operated by a number of providers, it is necessary for this to be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
